Our mission is to honor the life and legacy of Michael Alfred Esquibel by uplifting young student-athletes and artists across New Mexico. Through scholarships, outreach, and community engagement, we help students “Play with Heart” on and off the field.

Meet Michael Esquibel
Michael Alfred Esquibel was a beloved son, brother, athlete, coach, and artist. From his days playing baseball at St. Michael’s High School and St. Mary’s of the Plains to coaching championship teams in Germany, Michael believed in leading with heart — on and off the field. He inspired others through his resilience, creativity, and unwavering faith.
He was more than a coach or a competitor. He was a mentor, a friend, and a light in his community.
This foundation honors his life by lifting others who embody his spirit of leadership, grit, and heart.
